Current Exhibition

This exhibition brings together the works of two remarkable artists, Kong Wei and Kong Xianhua, whose paintings reflect both the continuity and evolution of Chinese artistic expression.

Kong Wei’s work is rooted in the rich traditions of classical Chinese ink painting. His compositions—often featuring animals, flowers, and natural scenes—capture fleeting moments with elegance and precision. Using expressive brushwork and subtle washes of ink and color, he conveys not only the physical beauty of his subjects but also their spirit. 

In contrast, Kong Xianhua explores a more contemporary visual language. His abstract works push beyond representation, using layered textures, and dynamic compositions to evoke feeling rather than depict reality. His art reflects the changing rhythm of the modern world while still maintaining a connection to cultural roots.

Together, these two artists create a dialogue between past and present, form and abstraction, tradition and innovation. This exhibition invites viewers to experience how Chinese painting continues to evolve—honoring its heritage while embracing new possibilities.
